Pasadena Certified Farmers' Market

The association behind Pasadena's two certified farmers markets, started in 1980 with 17 farmers at Villa Parke with help from the interfaith Hunger Coalition and the state's direct marketing program. Victory Park's Saturday market followed in 1984. Gretchen Sterling has managed both since the start.
